Application

EPS (also known as foam block, polystyrene foam board, benzene board, polystyrene block) is made from polystyrene beads containing a volatile liquid blowing agent. These beads are pre-foamed through heating in a mold, resulting in white objects with micro-fine closed pores. How to maintain the Full automatic adjustable eps block molding machine?
First, the polystyrene board equipment must be fully checked before work: to ensure the safety of the ground, to determine the material feed direction, to check whether the fan is running normally, as well as to ensure there are no problems at the two ends of the limit switch.
Second, before production and processing, it is best to dry the material (it can be naturally air-dried or mechanically dried) before cutting. Otherwise, excessive moisture can lead to low efficiency and wire breakage, resulting in wasted energy and affecting product quality.
Third, due to the high current operating system, it is strictly prohibited to allow foam particles and cutting debris to enter the electrical connections, as this can cause unnecessary fires or other accidents.
Fourth, during prolonged operation, it is important to regularly monitor the temperature of the transformer. If the temperature reaches about 60 ℃, it needs to be shut down promptly until the transformer cools down before resuming operation.
Fifth, if any darkening or damage is observed in the AC contactor terminals of the distribution box, they should be promptly replaced. Proper maintenance of the polystyrene board equipment can significantly improve efficiency, reduce failure rates during operation, increase profits for the enterprise, and extend the equipment's lifespan. Therefore, regular maintenance of the polystyrene board equipment is essential and should not be neglected.

 

What are the precautions for auto eps block molding machine for wall panel?
To operate the EPS block molding machine for wall panels, the operator must be familiar with the machine's basic knowledge, production process, and working principles, and must undergo training before operating the machine.
When using EPS raw materials, the particles should be larger than φ1mm and have a size of 16 mesh or more. Using small particles or a mixture of large and small powdered materials can block the mold vent, affecting product quality and production efficiency.
The EPS beads must be cured before making EPS blocks. The curing time depends on the temperature and the properties of the raw materials, but it should generally be not less than 4 hours.
Before connecting newly installed steam and compressed air pipes to the machine, they must be cleaned to prevent blocking the valves and vent grooves, which can affect the machine's normal operation.
Check the pressure of the compressed air before using the EPS block molding machine; it should not be lower than 0.6Mpa. Insufficient pressure can cause the valve to malfunction, leading to steam entering the machine in large quantities, resulting in product scrapping or machine damage.
Check the steam pressure before using the machine; it must be more than 0.5Mpa before entering the machine, and the continuous pressure after entering should not be lower than 0.3Mpa. Ensure a steam accumulator with a capacity of more than 10m³ is installed on the steam pipeline to maintain product quality.
The machine is equipped with a safety valve device to prevent excessive steam pressure. It must be checked weekly to prevent malfunctions.
After making the blocks, check the surface and internal quality. Correct any operation procedures promptly if quality problems are found to prevent issues during mass production cutting.
When producing low-density EPS blocks (i.e., foaming ratio more than 60 times), note that they are prone to shrinkage and deformation. They must enter a drying room with a temperature of about 75 ℃ for approximately 8 hours.
During the production process of the EPS block molding machine, ensure sufficient cooling after steam heating before demolding to prevent mold expansion and severe damage to the device.
