The Vertical EPS Block Moulding Machine is to shape EPS together into large blocks that meet the requirements. The molding of EPS polystyrene foam may follow several sequences:
• Filling of expanded beads into the EPS block former
• EPS block mold heated by steam
• Cooling of expandable polystyrene beads by air or EPS vacuum cooling system.
• Ejects the finished block from the cavity.
Cooling the foam part by vacuum hardens the foam and reduces its internal pressure. Additional finishing operations such as hot wire cutting, embossing, printing, laminating, etc. are available to customize the end application
Mechanical structure
A. The Vertical EPS Block Moulding Machine is welded by high-strength rectangular tube and steel plate, and after aging heat treatment, the machine has high strength;
B. All mechanical modules are annealed and milled by gantry milling to eliminate internal stress, protect the machine from deformation, and withstand the expansion force of high-density products;
C. The breathable plate of the Vertical EPS Block Moulding Machine is laser cut from a mirror stainless steel plate, and the air permeability can reach 8% (can be designed according to customer needs);
D. Adopt multi-way exhaust valve control to reduce steam pressure.

2. Intake and exhaust system
A. Multi-air slot air intake control is adopted to greatly improve the uniformity of steam distribution and reduce steam consumption;
B. The Vertical EPS Block Moulding Machine adopts multi-way exhaust valve control to reduce steam pressure and produce blocks in a low-pressure environment, with high plate uniformity and low moisture content.
3. Automatic control
A. The pressure sensor is used to control the fit of the panel, which reduces the errors and malfunctions caused by the use of electric contact gauges in the past;
B. The feeding control adopts double feeding technology: vacuum feeding and air feeding, which greatly reduces the probability of insufficient feeding.
C. The Vertical EPS Block Moulding Machine cooling method adopts three processes: fan cooling, vacuum cooling and fan plus vacuum cooling. Especially the fan plus vacuum cooling can increase the cooling speed and prolong the service life of the vacuum pump.
D. The foam block machine adopts Schneider PLC and touch screen to realize full computer control and fully automatic cycle operation, including mold opening and closing, feeding, heating, heat preservation, vacuum cooling, demoulding, and finished product ejection.
