Mould Adjustable EPS Block Moulding Machine Introduction

Fully automatic, it is easy to get EPS blocks of different sizes through mold adjustable technology. Especially for the EPS sandwich panel industry, different sizes of EPS blocks can save a lot of EPS foam waste. We have bottom wall campaigns, top wall campaigns and side wall campaigns to choose from.

EPS block molding machine is to shape EPS raw materials together into large blocks that meet various requirements. The molding of EPS blocks may follow several sequences:

• Filling EPS block formers with foam beads

• EPS block mold heated by steam

• Cool the expandable polystyrene beads by air or EPS vacuum cooling system.

• Ejects the finished block from the cavity.

Cooling the foam part by vacuum hardens the foam and reduces its internal pressure. Additional finishing operations, such as hot wire cutting, printing, laminating, etc., are available to customize the end application.

A. Mould Adjustable EPS Block Moulding Machine Body
• This EPS block making machine is horizontal design with adjustable mould wall system.
• The body adopts carbon steel welded structure. The inner wall is grooved aluminum plate with thickness of 5mm.
• Block fusion quality monitored by foam pressure sensor is optional.
• Block mould insulation (aluminum silicate fiber) is optional.

B. EPS block making machine filling silo
The filling silo is located on the top of the EPS block making machine and the material level is automatically controlled by the level sensor (optional). The device stops the machine when there is not enough available material in the silo.

C. Steaming system
In each process step, the steam pressure is adjusted by the main steam valve and the separate steam regulating valves on each side. Two cross-heating techniques are designed in the program. During the first cross-heating, the steam enters from the 2 large sides of the block mould and is discharged from the 4 small sides. During the second cross-heating, the steam is discharged from the 4 small sides.

D. Control panel
Mould Adjustable EPS Block Moulding Machine main cabinet is equipped with a safety lock and equipped with Delta/Siemens touch screen and PLC.

E. Block ejection and weighing device
When the process cycle is completed, the front door opens and the hydraulically driven ejector ejects the EPS block to the front door. Subsequently, two cylinders on the side of the EPS block machine push the block to the weighing device, and after weighing, the tilter erects the block from the horizontal direction. F. Vacuum system
Condensate tank about 0.8 m3 with water spraying and screening device – independent vacuum tank about 0.8 m3 6 cubic meters. Two vacuum pumps (each 11kw) are used on the machine. With the help of vacuum, it helps to reduce the EPS cycle time and water content.
