EPS Intermittent Pre-expander Machine is a specialized equipment used in the production of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam materials. It is designed to expand the beads of raw polymer materials used in making foam products such as insulation boards, packaging materials, and energy-absorbing structures.

 

The EPS Intermittent Pre-expander Machine starts by feeding raw EPS beads into the pre-expansion chamber where steam is injected, causing the beads to expand up to 20-40 times their original size. This process results in the production of high-quality beads with low density and high resilience.

1. PID control system

Automatic PID adjustment control system, automatic feedback of temperature sensor. PID steam and compressed air are automatically adjusted to achieve different densities and require different steam temperatures. Realize constant temperature and constant pressure foaming to ensure the uniform density of foamed beads and the foaming accuracy of ±1%.

2. Weighing closed-loop feedback system

The weighing feedback system adopts a famous-brand special weighing controller, which is controlled by PLC and touch screen. The weighing system can accurately weigh the foamed microbeads and provide timely feedback. The accuracy of the foam density can be controlled by adjusting the feed weight.

3. Vibration level sensor control system

The German imported vibration liquid level sensor is used to control the liquid level of the foaming beads to achieve precise volume control, thereby ensuring the accuracy of the foaming density.

4. Vacuum drying system

1) The vacuum drying system adopts the vacuum drying method, the drying time is short, the foaming is more uniform and accurate, the material is clean, the sample is not confused when weighing, and the feedback is accurate.

2) The discharge valve is a refined butterfly valve to ensure the vacuum and timely discharge of the material when entering the drying system.

5. Weighing and feeding system

The weighing and feeding system adopts famous-brand special weighing controller and weighing sensor, which is controlled by PLC and touch screen. The weighing system can accurately control the input of raw materials to achieve the smallest deviation.

6. Pre-foaming system

1) The barrel is made of high-quality stainless steel to ensure roundness and strength.

2) The barrel main agitator adopts frequency conversion speed regulation, and the spindle speed is adjustable, which better guarantees the uniformity of the heating of the raw materials.

3) The perforated bottom plate is made of thin stainless steel 316 special material and structure to ensure smoother and even steam penetration during the heating process, so that the foam density is more stable, each bead is more uniform, and the steam consumption is reduced. This can save more raw material costs and energy costs.

4) The foaming liquid level control adopts the German imported vibration liquid level sensor, which can sense the rise of the foaming beads and keep the foaming density tolerance to a minimum.

5) The unloading door is finished and assembled in CNC machining center to ensure smooth movement during the work process and avoid squeezing or deformation of the unloading door.

7. Crushing and screening system

1) The crushing and screening system adopts a horizontal blade structure, which makes the work more stable and the crushing and screening effect is better.

2) The feeding system adopts the principle of closed air extractor, which is far away from the air of the feeding fan, and the feeding speed is faster and more timely.

8. Electronic control system
